Group-Workshops in Bologna

In our digitally driven everyday lives—where mental health is still often treated as a taboo—I want to create community.

Sharing our experiences with others is powerful.
It can be:
Healing – "Ah, I'm not alone with this problem.", Instructive – "I could try that strategy too.", Supportive – "I did it—you can do it too!", and it helps us feel safe and connected.

My workshops are diverse in content, ranging from deep conversations about the meaning of life to navigating challenges in romantic relationships. Each session is tailored to the needs and interests of the group.

If you're interested in current or upcoming workshops, feel free to contact me.
I'm also available to
lead workshops at private events or at your location. Upon request, I can host up to 12 participants in a space in Bologna.

Well-Being

What does a person need in order to feel psychologically well? How can we define well-being? When do I personally feel happy and content? In partner, group, and individual exercises we will explore these questions together. I will provide psychological background knowledge on the topic and offer small prompts to encourage reflection. The goal is to think more deeply about ourselves—to gain clarity about what we are already satisfied with, what we might like to change, and to use the group exchange to discover different perspectives on mental well-being.

Values

What is truly important to me in life? What used to be important, but has recently fallen by the wayside?

We begin this exploration individually, using a questionnaire developed within the framework of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as a helpful tool for self-reflection.
Depending on the group dynamic, we then discuss our results with a partner or friend and explore strategies for moving toward a more values-based life. To support this, we use the SMART goals framework. Afterwards, we come together as a group to reflect on our experiences, share thoughts and feelings, and engage in meaningful discussion—only sharing what feels right for each individual.

The aim is to get closer to a values-oriented life and to be able to draw on clarity about our personal values, especially during challenging times.

Dealing with negative emotions

What triggers feelings like sadness, anger, or fear? How do these emotions affect our mental health—and what can we do when they become overwhelming?

In this workshop, we:

- Share (if we choose to) how certain feelings affect us

- Reflect on when emotions might actually be helpful

- Learn concrete strategies to reduce the negative impact of difficult emotions

Together, we build greater awareness and realize that we are not alone in our struggles—while gaining practical tools to manage them more effectively.

Strengthen your strengths

This workshop is a journey to discovering and celebrating your unique inner resources—not the kind you mention in job interviews, but personal traits like hope, curiosity, humor, or perseverance. Using a scientifically based questionnaire, we explore the 24 core character strengths identified by leading psychological research.

You’ll have space to:

- Reflect on your personal results

- Receive encouraging feedback from others

- Find ways to bring your strengths into everyday life

- Learn more about the so-called "happiness strengths"

We end with a creative visualization exercise, helping you connect with what makes you you—with clarity, appreciation, and self-confidence.
